She’s a roller!

I’ll be putting the engine in tomorrow and then the tins get put on. Shame I’m in the middle of re-painting the gas tank, I’d be almost there.. anyway, here she is!!!!

Brad Pitt’s bikes

So Brad Pitt has some cool bikes, I must admit he’s got a good eye for bikes. I’m not saying he’s cool because I have never met the guy, and personally I’d rather be doing Jennifer than Angelina but they are both probably completely nuts.

now THIS is an expensive bike…. if I have to tell you who makes these you don’t have enough money to even dream of bikes like this.

Looks like a cone shovel with a pan top end, and hardtail again, good man!

what not to do….

So I thought I would seal the tank after I painted it. Kinda stupid, but the real stupid part was to blow hot air into the tank to dry it from the rust eliminator. I cooked it and somehow the tank developed a bad case of herpes. SHIT! Go directly back to start, do not collect $200. I hate doing things twice! But what the hell, no-one is perfect…..

tins are painted

Here is the tank from lace tape to finish paint. I laid 5 coats of clear after the last picture, next is wait 3-4 days then sand then buff. These tins should look sick on the frame I finished.
